Father Kenneth Ojomah
Message from the President
Jan. 28, 2010
Dear LMU Community,
It is with great sadness that I share with you the news of the passing of Father Kenneth Ojomah. Kenneth was a master’s degree candidate in the Bioethics Institute in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts. He passed away this week in his native country of Nigeria.
Kenneth lived and worked at St. Jerome Parish in Westchester and was active in the community during his time with us. Professor James Walter remembers Kenneth as a kind and gentle man who always had a wonderful smile.
St. Jerome Parish will celebrate the life of Father Ojomah in a memorial Mass on Friday, Feb. 12 at 7:00 p.m. and has invited the LMU community to join them. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Father Ojomah’s name to the Bioethics Institute, c/o Alma Vorst, 1 LMU Drive, Suite 2800, Los Angeles, California 90045-2659.
Please keep the Ojomah family in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Robert B. Lawton, S.J.
President
